Installation Standards, Electrical Requirements & Refrigerant Handling

We take workmanship seriously. Riverflow completes the full mechanical installation, including mounting, routing, and electrical work within our licence. All ductless heat pumps require a dedicated electrical circuit and an outdoor disconnect switch provided by a licensed electrician, and we can coordinate this as needed to ensure compliance with Ontario electrical and manufacturer requirements.

All refrigerant handling, evacuation, charging, and final commissioning are performed exclusively by licensed STO-registered 313D/313A air-conditioning technicians or registered apprentices. This ensures every system is evacuated, charged, and started up to proper refrigeration standards.

Service Policy

Riverflow HVAC provides service and repair only for ductless heat pump systems that we have installed ourselves. This ensures we know every detail of the system’s sizing, design, line-set routing, drainage, electrical setup, and commissioning. With full installation history, we can troubleshoot accurately, maintain performance, and stand behind our work long-term.
