Service call and pricing

Diagnostic and assessment fee: $130 (includes up to 1 hour on site). If more time is needed, labour is $130 per hour after the first hour. Repairs are billed for time plus parts and materials.

Installation and replacement

If you’re looking to add cooling, replace an older system, or upgrade to a heat pump, we’ll help you choose the right approach for your home, layout, and comfort goals.

We install and replace:

  • Central air conditioning (outdoor condenser paired with an indoor coil)

  • Ductless heat pumps and ductless AC (single-zone and multi-zone systems)

For heat pump installations, we size and plan the system using heat loss and heat gain calculations so the equipment is matched to your home – not guessed. That helps with comfort, efficiency, and long-term reliability.

Repairs and troubleshooting

Our work is centred on new installations, and we also support and service the air conditioning and heat pump systems we've installed, helping troubleshoot and repair common cooling problems such as:

  • No cooling or weak airflow

  • Systems that freeze up or run constantly

  • Water leaks tied to drains and condensate

  • Ductless heads dripping or not responding properly

  • Comfort issues like hot rooms, uneven cooling, or poor humidity control

If a repair makes sense, we’ll explain what failed, what the options are, and what it takes to get things running properly again.

Maintenance and cleaning

Maintenance and cleaning can make a noticeable difference in airflow, comfort, and reliability — especially for ductless systems and indoor coils. These services are typically performed on systems we’ve installed or assessed, so we can ensure the work aligns with how the equipment was designed and set up.

Common services include:

  • Ductless deep cleaning of indoor heads, with drain inspection and cleaning as needed

  • Outdoor unit cleaning to improve airflow through the coil

  • Evaporator coil deep cleaning on central systems when buildup is restricting airflow or contributing to icing

  • Basic performance checks and simple recommendations to help reduce breakdowns

If you’re not sure what your system needs, we can assess it and recommend the level of cleaning that makes sense for your setup.

What to expect when you book

We start with a proper assessment and a clear explanation of what we found. If a repair is needed, we’ll outline options and pricing before moving ahead. If you’re planning a new installation, we’ll talk through the layout, sizing, and equipment options so you can choose a setup that fits your home and budget.

Air conditioning and heat pump FAQ

Should I choose central air or a ductless heat pump?
It depends on your home’s layout, existing ductwork, and what you’re trying to solve. We’ll explain the pros and cons in plain language and recommend the best fit.

Do you do heat loss and heat gain calculations for heat pumps?
Yes. For heat pump installations, we use heat loss and heat gain calculations to size the system properly for your home.

What does the $130 diagnostic include?
It includes the visit and up to 1 hour on site for troubleshooting and assessment. Additional time is billed at $130 per hour.

How often should ductless units be cleaned?
It depends on usage, pets, dust, and how the system is running. Many homes benefit from periodic deep cleaning to maintain airflow and reduce odours.

Do you service all air conditioners and heat pumps?
We primarily service and maintain systems we’ve installed or previously assessed, as this allows us to work efficiently and stand behind the results. If you’re unsure whether we’re a fit for your system, we’re happy to discuss your setup.
